The send settings can be found in additional functions. I don't have a copier in front of me but here it is from memory.
1st go to additional functions, system settings, network settings, TCP/IP and enter the DNS ip. And copier ip, subnet, and gateway if its not there already.
2nd go to additional functions communication settings, send settings, and enter the SMTP server ip (or name). It looks like you are in the fax settings but the e-mail is buried in there.
Hope this gets you in the right area anyway.

        Hi DLP,

IN my machine, I cannot key the smtp in the location that you told me.( additional function- communication setting, send setting). There is no send setting. i only found TX setting and and RX setting. No way to key SMTP.

But My SMTP only can key in additional function-system setting- networking setting- email/ifax. I did key everything accept user name and password which suppose to key in SMTP authentication. But my machine cannot find this button.

        WHat shoudl i do now?

I found a working copier, and yes it is Additional Functions > System settings > Network settings > E-mail/I-Fax settings > Authen./Encryption key.
Then for SMTP authentification press the "ON" key so the user/pass won't be greyed out. Then enter your username/password.

What I was thinking of is where they bury the default send settings. If you want to default it to PDF go Additional functions > Communication Settings > TX settings (the one under Common not Fax) > page down, and hit Default send settings. Thats where you change it from Tiff to PDF or multipage PDF.
