    Canon IR 7105

    I have a Canon IR 7105 with a E850 code. It is for the double feed sensors. I have replaced both sensors and the PCB that controls it. The Error came back and the manual says to reset the 2 connectors on the DC Controller and also try and reset the sensors again. I did this and it seams to work for now. Wondering if anyone has seen a Pub. on this issue or may have any other fixes.

      Not quite sure but I thought you could turn the double feed detection off in service mode? Maybe someone else can chime in with exact details

          You can turn it off by going into Copier/Option/Body/Ovlp-Md.This turns it off but doesnt really solve your problem of why it is happening.It pluggs into the DC controller if i remember correctly so you might want to start there.
