Flash your boot with the correct firmware. If you had a hardisk error you would get a E602. Its definitly hardware or firmware related though.

Its plain to see that your not familiar with the procedure.

You must acquire service support tool and firmware for a 5000DN. Then you must put the machine in download mode, which it can be done in this circumstance.

Your best option at this moment is to call a tech. The unit must be flashed.

                One other soluttion

If the memory is ok. Its special memory you cant use other than original.
Ive tryed with 3 differnt memorys byt when i tried original it starterd instant
i think try new firm via sst.
Once ive had to change the maincontroler...
                Good luck

Have your machine an original DIMM-ROM and an original Harddrive??? If u ever changed the dimm rom or the hdd with the other so your problem started from here. if its true, you must replace the original dimm-rom & hdd, and you must flash it by the procedure.

original DIMM-ROM and an original Harddrive

                    DIMM-ROM and Harddrive are original.
i also tried swapping ROM, Harddrive, DC Controller and power supply to another machine. everything works fine on another machine. if the problem is in the hdd or the rom, the same should not worked on another machine but its working fine. i also checked the wiring inside, its all ok.
im really confused what to do. im not able to get the solution.
                    please help

Screwtape has the best suggestion so far. If you can't flash it swap it with another one. This is the smaller (40 pin?) memory chip, not the 128MB ram.
Definitly sounds like its related to your boot rom.

So your saying that you take the bootrom and dimm chips from the one machine that has the problem and you put in another machine and it works?

Have thought maybe you have a problem with the control panel...

please, try change the main board without Dimm-rom & counter chip. use original Dimm-rom, Counter Chip, & Hdd from the machine. I think the main board is faulty.

I have to agree with Screwtape on this one. I had a machine that would not boot (nothing on the display). Swapped the memory, boot rom, HDD, etc still nothing. Someone suggested the Display. I took the Display off and gave it a good cleaning and blow out. Put it all back together and it worked.
