iRc2880/Snow Leopard - Printing issues with new Canon drivers

Ok guys and gals, I have a new issue and its obviously something that is not common knowledge.

A Customer of mine is having sporatic printing issues with specific applications on their new MAC Snow Leopard OS.

We installed the new canon drivers for the iRC2880 and when the customer try's to print from Safari or Entourage an error message will come up and when you clik ok, it shuts the job down.

They can print from their Word Processing applications and photo applications just fine. It only happens with the two applications above that we know of.

Anyone have any ideas or experience this? We have an opend ticket with Canon right now, but I thought I would try and pick everyones brain with this.

I am pretty sure that the newest driver Canon has is for the Leopard version but not for the Snow Leopard version.

10.6.1 is what is supposed to be supported,,, I don't know what flavors of "kitty" are represented by what numbers.

Which driver are you using, the latest mac osx driver that supports snow leopard is UFR II V2.5 and there is a PS V3 and also a PPD driver.

We are using the UFRII V2.25 driver for our customer.

I have not had any problems with the new UFR II driver, have you removed the printer and driver and tried to install the printer fresh. By removing the printer and driver, I mean delete the printer, then go into the library and remove the Canon UFR II folder.

I have not done that yet, but will give it a try.
