iR2230 not offsetting - resolved
This is an update to previous post about an iR2230 with the S1 finisher.
PROBLEM: After replacing the HDD (E602), the customer noticed that the unit would not offset print jobs (copy yes, print no).
None of the e-support recommendations helped - and they even said the one they have does not offset print jobs. Interestingly enough, a board repair service we use also has an iR2230 w/S1 that also does not offset for print. Both places have latest system software.
RESOLUTION: Go back to an older version of system software. We used 10.07 - and it now offsets.
Not sure when Canon will provide a fixed system software, but guess I will say it before someone else does -
