what do you change in the copier settings when you don't want the bufferpass unit on the machine?

CLC 5100 bufferpass?? I'm confused, I don't know of any bufferpass being installed on this copier,,, did you post with the correct model number? The CLC 5100 is a REAL old beasty if it is the one I am thinking of."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"

I'm still puzzled...
Is this the machine you are referring to? Not sure where you would attach a bufferpass on this copier. That is usually put on something like a iR3245 or even the new iRAC5051.
Send some kind of picture if you could...Attached Files"Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"

For anyone who may not know...the job of the bufferPASS is to remove any curl from the prints before they enter the finisher.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

The machine dosen't have the sorter, just the bufferpass. When I remove the bufferpass unit and turn it back on it states check all power plugs. the same as when I try to remove the paper deck. I'm trying to move the machine into a smaller space and would like to remove the bufferpass unit.Comment
