    CANON IR 105 solid black

    Hi,

have problem with IR 105 which print solid black. Printed image is visible under black. Also if print some text there is some white outline around text and everything else on page is black.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok. Let's eliminate the possibilities. Check your laser specs in d-pot make sure they are within specs.
          Check your pre exposure lamps.
If you can try swapping the primary corona rather than replacing it now.
Also the HVT can cause this.

For the hell of it try doing a CCD adjust, even though we eliminate the reader as being the problem because it happen when your printing.

One more thing, check special features and make sure your positive&negative feature is not enable. I seen some customers do some stupid things when they start poking around with settings.

          Good luck
