      Thanks,
      But I could not enter to service mode * 2 8 *.
What are the other ways in entering to service mode?

        It should work.
        Additional function/2&8/Additional functions.
Hit reset when it doesn't respond then try again

        Maybe somebody changed it.
        Rather than 2&8 try 4&9.
        But continue with 2&8.
Were you hitting the asterisk* number key?
You should be hitting additional functions key.

Nope...on a 3200 *2 and 8* is it...persevere...keep trying...the ability to enter service mode is only limited by your clumsiness

Hey Ozey, Are you sure about that.
In service mode that option is available for the 3200, SVMD-ENT. Use it to see how to start service mode:0: User Mode key -> 2 and 8 keys at the same time -> User Mode key (default)1: User Mode key -> 4 and 9 keys at the same time -> User Mode key.

kabayan, maybe you should check if the buttons are working/responding properly first.

As what the previous post said keep on trying to hit * 2 and 8 and be sure all the buttons are working properly.

If the machine is being stubborn going into service mode, try resetting the main power switch, then trying it again.

Doing so normally helps when this happens.

If you have a hand that looks like you have 5 thumbs then do NOT attempt to get into service mode
but seriously...remember to hit the reset button after each failed attempt at getting into service mode.

I had this problem with my ir105+. I tried all the combination keys on the panel but it didn't work. It seems the 2 and 8 is not working but if you go to safe mode that is turn on the machine then 2 and 8 it works fine.

I thought that it's a hard disk fault. So I changed the HDD but still the same.

But when I changed the Main Controller, I can easily get through on the service mode (with a smile ) ...but I don't know which part of the main controller has a problem...

srewtape is right, to enter service mode in irC3200: additional function key, 2&8, additional function key.
