We just purchased a used Canon print/copier and when you copy in color all the colors are not on top of each other but beside each other. How do we fix this, I can't find a feature to calibrate.

Check out this link there's some info on what to do.
This issue is known to be what they call misregistration issue. You will indeed need to have a tech look at the problem. Try rebooting and doing a auto gradation(calibration) under additional functions/adjustments cleaning/auto gradation. Try a quick adjust and afterwards then a full adjust and follow the procedure on the control panel. Chances are it won't work but your never know sometimes it does. You can try this for free. Its on me.
