Hi,

I'm out of warranty and use printers every day and to get it seen to by a tech I'd have to send it away for a week and that would cost me more than a new model. I fix all of my own epsons and most canons but this one will not respond to anything without the sst, I can't even check my usage figures etc, can anyone help at all?

I want the sst as well. I could get it free from someone who says its what it is or I could get it from someone who actually sells stuff on a website that has a good reputation of selling a good product. That decision is up to you. If you get burned then boo-hoo, live and learn. If you get lucky then good for you. If you do not want to try your luck then just pay the small fee and be happy. The manuals4you guy's website is for real. His fee's are more than fair. If you just want the manuals without worring about getting screwed, then that is the way to go. If you want to haggle over a penny, then go ahead and try your luck.

Well now that is sounding like some real aggression. I only wanted to piss take a little. I did not get your joke so maybe I got a little aggressive. For that I am sorry.
