    ir 3570 tray 1 jams

i have had alot of problems with this series of machines jamming in tray 1 lately. a new feed section always seems to be the fix. what goes bad in them? i always try tires and torque limiters first, but seem to end up needing the whole assembly. what am i missing? thanx

vertical feed rollers usually cause the problems. can get shiny. if they are black they need to be changed to grey rollers as they are the modified roller.

also pressure on the RHS door may need to be increased

canon have brought out a new paper sensor for the vertical path as the old ones get worn out

the old ones are just black and can look ok but there worn

the new ones have a metal cover over the end of them thats how you can tell

        the part number is FL2-6580-000

thanx to all. door pressure looks to be the answer.
