Canon - Incoming Faxes To Email?

Does anyone know if a Canon Imagerunner 1025if will take incoming faxes and automatically forward them to an email account? I was told it would by a buddy but in messing around with a friends, I could not see anywhere w/in the UI where this was possible. Thanks!

Yes. To setup Fax Forwarding you need to connect through the RUI of the imageRUNNER 1023iF. Select Additional Functions, then Forwarding Settings. You must have your address book set up. You can forward to a file folder or email. Just pick who you have in your address book.
You must also have your SMTP info configured into your 1025iF, this is require for emailing. Otherwise you can have faxes forward to a file folder.
