    E110

    Hi,
In a predicament here. I am at an account that called in for a E197 code. Another tech came out and called me that the ir7105 will need a laser assembly. I just got through putting in a brand new(not Nationwide) laser assembly. I turned on the machine and it went into an E110-000 code.
    Any thoughts?

    E110 part2

Ok still out here at 1am. Reseated the laser unit-no luck. Did last resort MMI clear. Still getting E110. This is not good and I'd really like to go home.

I would go with the nationwide rebuilt unit. The new ones had a problem with e110 out of the box. I'm surprised they are still out there. If you are an authorized Canon dealer they had some for free to replace the problem ones.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

If it is brand new from Canon I would send it back for a refund. NWRS is also updating them for free if you are Canon dealer.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          E110 part3 update

Well the machine lasted all of 1 day. Today it started to give an E197, E315, and an E749. This is going to the shop.
