    105+ firmware updating

I want to update my 105+ firmware . i have the firmware
    1) Can i just plug in a usb cable and update or do i need canon generic cable (like nethawk)
2)How do I update via USB . I tried to register the firmware to usb but had a issue
I had registered only 8070/9070/105+firmware to SST when I tried to register the firmware to USB the registered firmwares in sst was shown as IRC models.
Could some one guide me through.
    thanks

There are no USB files available for this model. Your best bet is to register through the SST and use a cross over cable. Your network settings need to be configured on the same scheme as the copier in order to do this. 172.16.1.XX
