IR600 E-602

Hi everybody.

I had a trouble with my IR600. First, it was showing that hard disk needs service. the machine doesn't print and some bottons like memory copy B and mail box was disabled, scanner doens't work too.

I had changed the printer box with same one IR600 but before it copy the page runs code E-602 or 601. I've done it a lot of times and changed HD's from both printer boxes and all conectors are perfect. If somebody could help me I appreciate.

Try formatting the hard drive with sst and reload all software.

Do you have a sub code? 602 are almost always a HDD but you can get it from the power supply. The HDD doesn't turn... no power to it. But along with the other symptoms you may have a main controller or DC con issue. running scandisk is always a good idea. no harm in it.

replace HDD with a new hdd, it's no need SST. just replace with 6GB 3,5" Hdd or higher.
i hear a printer box, no there is not a printer problem bro.
the HDD is place in the box system software motherboard
