    parallel to usb

    My thanks to you, the last days i have change my laptop to another that have not parrallel connect and I want to use parrallel to usb to download software to ir 2200 so i take the way for sst manuel, at the final a windows that the file can not found in crogramfile/sevsuptool/inf/usbadp. i want help to config the cable.

    You can't just use any usb to parallel cable. You need to use a nethawk cable (special usb to parallel cable designed for use with SST). It's the only cable that works.

        if you have a PCMCIA slot you can buy those parallele port adapters otherwise you have to shell out around $150 or so for the cable
        a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one

          The driver for that Nethawk cable is part of the PDL Downloader installer that is acquired from Canon.

            By default you can find the driver in your Canon\ServiceSupportTool\inf\USBPAdp. You can install the driver by using the Windows Device Manager under USB controllers.
