    scanning with IR3220 dark

    what's the preocedure to scan picture with ir c3220
    i install scan gear it scan and use microsoft office document scanning to scan it scan paper ok but when i try to picture the image is dark and it save it as a tif not to mention it scan the whole thing on a 8 x 11 size i just want to scan the actual size of the picture with %100 good quality what software can i use to accomplish that

    Universal send would be a better option. You have more file format options ,PDF, JPEG, ETC.
    This way you can scan to a folder and use a Adobe app to open up as a PDF and do optical corrections.

          loading the scangear tool should also install the twain driver. If that is the case you can scan into various programs which will give you more control.
          Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

            that's what i was kinda asking what are some of the different software i can use to scan that would give me a better quality and saving option

              You gotta understand that your gonna still scan using the 3220. You can try another application but if the results don't change then it s not the apps that are causing the image quality to be darker. You can use adobe acrobat 8,9 photo shop. Try using the highest DPI res. Try adjusting the density adjustment setting from the control panel to a lesser value and see if that helps.
              Its a generic tool. You are gonna get what you get, there is nothing sophicated about this tool.
