    Canon Ir2200 Scanner Problem!

    Help!!!!
    canon ir2200 scanner problem!
    It has network printer available however when tried to use the scanner it said additional equipment needed, I have no idea what other equipment needed?
    Please advised me what step need to take from here!!!
    Please Help asap>

      are you sure you have an 'N' boot rom and firmware installed with a NIC card? It should support network scangear if you have those two things it should work

          Go into service mode and Select the Option tab. Select User. Scroll to page 3 and select NW-Scan and set this to 1 (the default is 0).
          Select OK. Press Reset to back out of Service Mode and reboot the imageRUNNER.
          If your copier is a printer you should have scanning capabilities. Assure also that firmware is up to date.

              Follow the other suggestions.

              Also note that a manual for using Network ScanGear is included in the download. Be sure not to use the colour version as the IR2200 only scans B&W.
