Your saying upon reloading firmware ,system, language, Rui, the SST errors out at the point of Dcon. Ummm..
Are you restarting your copier after firmware has been reloaded. After the first part of the firmware that has been installed
You must reboot your machine and bring it up in Fixed IP mode, Holding down 1&7 to continue installing firmware for Dcon and Rcon.
You must go into service mode and go to copier>function>system>ok. The machine will restart on its own and flash Dcon and Rcon if necessary.
Machine will do all the rest and just let finish on its own.

Formatting the hard drive through the Service Support Tool is done using the HDFormat.ift file. This file, when sent, will format all the partitions set on the imageRUNNERs hard drive. The partitions are limited depending on what Download Mode you are in when you send the file. The Service Support Tool will list the partitions available.
There are two different methods for getting machines into a download mode to accept data. Each download mode allows a different level of access to the hard drive using HDFormat.
1.Download Mode B (accessed within Service Mode on the device, boot up through normal boot or FIXEDIP).
Download Mode B allows limited access and can only format certain partitions (it does not allow for a complete format of the drive).
2.Download Mode C (holding down 2 & 8 while powering on the device).
Download Mode C allows for a complete format, but can only be done when connected via a parallel cable on the xx00 and xx20 series imageRUNNERs (Download Mode C does not enable the Network Card on these models). The All Color Enabled imageRUNNER Models, the xx70 series models, and those after xx70 series do not have a parallel port. These models allow Download Mode C (to perform a complete format) to be accessed via a network connection.

                    OK.
                    I must ask.
Why did you in the first place try to flash the machine.
You might have a problem with memory. Have you tried reseating the dimms
Two HDDs and you experience the same outcome. Ethier you flashing it incorrect or some other components are faulty.
IR3220 is meap embedded. Is meap installing. This can also cause some booting up issues.
There two separate firmware for the 3200 and the 3220. Which one are you using?
Please don't be offended if I ask simple question, I'm just trying to investigate.

                    I would check ram.

It could be a memory problem. Try to change place of the memory. Once i had the boot rom that was fucking up.
And a big long shoot could be the pix card on the back. It is one of the slot in cards.
                        Good Luck
