The GX-100 and 200 are very similar RIPs made for very similar machines, just a much newer genre.

I used the GX-200 drivers with an imagePASS H1 about a year or so ago, and it actually worked better than the H1 driver did, at least in the Mac environment (the customer had no PCs).

I haven't actually tried that driver on a C1 or C2, but I see no reason that it should not be at least mostly functional.

I would in definite try KenB's option!
The worst you'll get is PDL error.

I mean your situation is gonna be what it is.
In fact you don't have many options at all.
It sucks.. Try KenB's option. You'll never know.

        Testing looks good...

        KenB,

I have downloaded the GX-100 and GX-200 drivers and set them up in test queues for the IR3220/C1 and IR3220/C2 devices and it looks like they are working well. As you suggested, we have testing and tweaking to do before we roll them out everywhere, but this is definitely a promising start. It looks like the driver works and supports the trays and options of the device, and works with XP/Vista/Win7 for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. No conflicts or print server crashes that had plagued us withe the "supported" drivers that were supposed to work with Vista.

Thanks so much for your help and your suggestions.

        Mike

Happy to hear it's working, at least so far.

            Glad I could help!
