IRC 3100N Error Code 000020-03a8

Hi,

Can I perhaps get the advice of some copier techs. I am currently getting error code 000020-03a8 on my IRC 3100n photocopier. The tech came out and clean the blade attach with the drum unit believing this is the problem. Currently the copy does not provide a clean print, when he wipes the drum manual he says the copies come out good. He pressed on the cleaning blade to provide some more tension but explained that it is still not cleaning the drum properly. He believe the cleaning blade that is suppose to clean the drum after each print needs changing. Any ideas from anyone..

E020-03A8 is your Developing Ass'y (CYAN): FM2-0059.
I suggest replacing the Developing Ass'y for cyan.
If the blade on the drum was tampered with, replace your drum. You really shouldn't have to play with the drum blade on these drum units. You just have to replace them when they start going bad.Also your transfer cleaning assy can cause dirty copies.
