    sst and firmware

    Dear all

    Can someone explain me what is the use /meaning of sst and firmware , i am new photocopier technician

      SST is a service support tool program that allows you to communicated with the copier. You use this tool to update firmware. Firmware is the system program for copier machines. This is done by using hardware such as a laptop and crossover cable. If you are a new tech, you must a laptop as well. Its a tool needed for this job.

              u first need to read the SST Manual/ are u trained on those models ???????

                  i am trained on this model, but i never work with sst. can you send me manual of sst.i will greatfull to ur help , if u teach me hw to work on sst and firmware.

                                          need firmware for canon ir 2016 help me pliiiiiiiz i have a lot of work with my copie

                                          i have ir 2016 new one with problem standby, & i lost my firmware after bying it.
