i have an iRC3100 that prints blurry copies when i try to make a copy. i notice in the ITB images is solid black but once come out it is blur. also i noticed that if i make a 10 copies, there are 2-3 copies are solid black, then the rest is blur. the blurry copies are just like discharge from secondary transfer roller.i've changed ITB and the drum. still the same.can someone help me solve it???

You mention the secondary transfer roller but have you checked it?
I would try popping the side door as the paper is passing the ITB so you can atleast determine if it is happening during transfer or elsewhere. No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.Comment

I had a very similar problem recently, where i got blurry copies, but i didnt get the black copies. what i found to be the fault is the cam that engages the cleaning unit to the ITB. when the cleaning blade is supposed to be away from the ITB, it was actually touching it very slightly, just enough to smear the image, but not completely remove it from the ITB, which, as in your case looked perfect on the ITB. what i did as a temp fix is i reversed the cam. it worked fine like that, but i had to replace it because the cam shouldnt go on that way. A easy way for you to check if this is your problem is to remove the cover to expose the ITB, go into service mode > copier > test and print a PG10 test page. while the machine now forms the test page image on the ITB hold the cleaning unit's cleaning blade away from the ITB by slightly pushing the white lever on the front side of the cleaning unit to the left.
Hope this helpsComment

How about Prints/ or your Test Prints ??**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Blurry copy - prints fine.
Copy is blurry, printing is fine.
The service manual says it is the main controller pcb, I check all connector etc, seems to me it is more likely the cis (reader) or the reader board? I clean and lube the scanner rails. Any other idea?
Just started working with this customer, have no history on the machine, meter is 40k. Thanks
