    iR5000i - TOuch Screen Issues

    This device is wired
For some reasons the touch screen is miles out of calibration
This 5000i is that far out that i can't get into the right area to recalibrate

When i get into service mode, and try to tap "Copier" nothing
When i tap on "Sorter", the "feeder" options come up !!!
    (Yep that far out)

Have tried and remade all connectors, but nope, still the same

Is there any way to get this back to default (Some where close), or is it a case of a new display/screen

(Hope the 1st one is an option, don't want the cost)

    Ta

Just try to clean touch screen cable, tested by me it work like new, or you can replace only touch screen without LCD with new one

      Service Mode>Function>Panel>TOUCHKEY

Use it to match points of presses on the touch panel and the LCD coordinates
Execute this mode if you have replaced the LCD unit.
      Using the Mode:
      1. Select TOUCHKEY and press the OK key.
      2. Press ' + ' indicated on the touch panel at nine locations in sequence. You might need a FINE TIP instrument to assist in this step.
      3. Select TOUCHKEY once again to end the operation.

if you have no response at all and no adjustment can be performed, you need to replace

He is not able to get into "copier" portion of service mode, because the touchscreen is so far out of calibration. I have been there,, I had to get a different op panel, because I too could not access the top row of the touchscreen to get into copier or top menu items...

Better off replacing with new op panel, even by cleaning the touch screen cable it wont fix the problem.
