    Canon IR1025if Black Display

    I have a Canon IR1025iF giving me only a black display. It goes thru its rotation power light is on...seems dead, other than that.. Any and all help will be appreciated. I have a 1023 manual, the same machine i think

    Similar, not the same. If you put a doc on the glass and press copy,, do you get anything out of it?

      No Nothing...at all happens,, I am thinking dc controller or Power Supply

        Hip shot would be power supply,,, forgot to ask,, was green idiot light on, on the front panel?

          Yes the Green light is on.. I flip the power switch on and the machine cycles, screen turns black. nothing works after that. light stays green

              No, the customer was running copies and turned it off to let it cool down "they said"... and when they went to turn it back on , black screen came up, green light, rotation and thats it.

                Last time i had a problem like that it was the main board, teck was busy with upgrade and switched the machine off too soon. We had to replace the DC cont(main board). Sorry.
