Canon IR C3220 w/C1-trouble setting up and connecting to network

I must be missing something basic but in the additional functions mode I go to systems settings>network settings>TCP/IP and then it gives me only two possibilities: SNTP settings or Use PASV mode for FTP. Since only the SNTP settings allows a TCP/IP address to be entered, this where I am entering the TCP/IP address when I hit the NTP server check I get "error" but not specified. Is there somewhere else I need to enter the TCP/IP address? Help! Thank you.

If you have a fiery(C1) you must set up the fiery. Go to the printer tab, hit the status tab, then hit the functions tab and run set up. There will be a network settings tab this is where you set up your network configurations. There's alot of info regarding your question if you use the search option.
