One-way clutches....yeah Canons favorite. Xeroxs very rarely use them. I clean the shaft with alcohol, replace it if its scored. I've actually put e-rings on the shafts as spacers as a temp fix...this way clutch rollers grab different area of shaft. Otherwise clean the shaft and the inside of the oneway with alcohol. Then a drop of high quality turbine oil on the shaft and 2 or 3 drops on the rollers in the clutch. The rollers in the oneway must be clean and oiled for the clutch to work properly and consistently. Sewing machine oil works good also....doesnt gum up. Triflow works too but gets gummy. I never use a grease type of lube...there are springs inside the clutch

You reminded me that Gun oil and sewing mach oil are great.
      Thanks
      P

BTW the torrington 1 way clutches have a plastic bearing guide inside,
what happens on the shaft that the bearing has a buildup that solvent and(not kidding)
500-1000 grit sand paper will do wonders.
Same for the wrap spring type(but get the inside of the spring too) if your in a fix dont have the part (2 min repair)

Measure to Prevent Displacement, Breakage of the Fixing Film and E007-0000
imageRUNNER 3245 Series Procedure for Adjusting the Fixing Nip Adjustment Screw
              Affected:imageRUNNER 3245 DHJ00001 ~ DHJ03522
              imageRUNNER 3245i DHK00001 ~ DHK04323

              -Open the right door assembly.
-Open the jam handling cover at the fixing assembly.
-Look into the leg of the front adjustment screw
-Fit the end of a ruler onto the plain surface of the metal plate in the
front side and measure the length of the front adjust screw.
It is difficult to measure the length of the rear adjustment screw leg,
so visually compare it with the length of front adjustment screw leg
or use a piece of paper with a 10mm mark.
              ir3235/ir3245=8 to 9.5mm
              ir3225=6 to 7mm

-If the measurements are not within the standard above, remove the
              fixing assembly from the copier.
When re-adjusting the front adjustment screw, turn it with long nose
pliers or T15 Torx screwdriver so that the screw length of its leg falls
              within the standards below.
              ir3235/ir3245=8 to 9.5mm
              ir3225=6 to 7mm

-When re-adjusting the rear adjustment screw, turn it with long nose
pliers or T15 Torx screwdriver so that the length of its leg falls within
              the standard above.
              - After re-adjustments, return the fixing assembly to the copier and
execute the following service mode to check the nip pressure:
              COPIER> FUNCTION> FIXING> NIP> CHK
              Standards:
              iR3235/3245s: 7.6 to 10.6mm
              iR3225s: 4.0 to 6.0mm

imageRUNNER 3245 Procedure to check the alignment of the Fixing Assembly
              - Open the right door assembly.
-Remove the fixing assembly so that the
left and right side alignment plates are
viewable as shown in the pink squares
              in the left photos.
-Locate the alignment plate shown to the
left and verify if the bosses exists
nearest to the center of the slotted holes
as possible. If they are not, adjust the
              position of the plate.
              - Perform the same adjustment
for the plate shown to the left
and verify the bosses of the
              plate exist in the correct
              position. If not, adjust the
              position of the plate.

If it is generating E-061...yes...potential control problem...laser shutter possibly.... i'm not sure what model this is????? On 8500s and 105s dirty drum heater contacts will give you background first thing in the morning then disappear...fuser eventually warms drum up

i will try your idea 1st. thing tomorrow morning hope it works.
the IR4600 is same as IR6000/5000 m/c's in every thing i use the same p/n and manuals for this model.
it is imported from UK to Egypt -used- and sold as is. it uses same toner, developer tank, hopper, drum, fuser unit
                          same feeder, same finisher.

                          thanks a lote

Keep on all night/ go back and turn off/ and on when u get there- see if error pops up

old tech pub> E061, early morning only.
imageRUNNER was turned off/on, it worked fine until the next morning. If the unit was turned off overnight, it would warm up correctly. The bearings of the laser unit were causing it not to speed up correctly, causing the error E061 message. Laser unit was replaced.

Yes i would be checking out the laser shutter operation. The actuator is on the front door...as per teckats' posting...check for e110 error logged in error history
