You have never resolved an image quality issue with a ram clear? How long you been fixing copiers? Oh yeah, you're the one that dont sell to print shops!!!! This forum is meant to help one another not take pop shots at peoples suggestions. Grow upComment

I have over twenty years experience on Canon color products , as a Tech/Troubleshooter & Trainer you don't have to tell me about RAM Clr. or explain the object of this Forum. The ir3380's have been a problem from the start of production, I was working on them before they were even released to the sales force.

Hi guys.I am sorry about the late response but I solved the problem in the end.I cleaned all of the contacts for the transfer hv pcb again, this time with solvent.I couldn't see anything wrong with them but it worked. What is it with these canons.I think you really need to work for canon to get the lowdown on these type of faults.I have worked on numerous other brands of m/cs and I find that canon m/s are the worst.I had to replace a circuit breaker in an ir5870ci last week cos it was tripping intermittently and I have never needed to do that with any other brand of m/c.Voodoo stuff.I didn't mean to start a war over this post either so I hope that the next time I have a problem you'll still give me a dig out.I really appreciate eveyones help.Cheers.Comment
