Turned out to be very full waste toner bottle. The waste toner delivery assembly was also full as a result preventing it from working properly. Had to take it apart to clear the packed waste toner from the delivery pipe to the waste toner bottle.
E013 Waste toner feedscrew (locked) 1) Is the waste toner feedscrew drive gear pushing the waste toner feedscrew lock detecting switch (MSW2)? YES: Connect the connector. Waste toner feedscrew lock detecting switch (MSW2), DC controller PCB 2) Make the following selections in service mode: COPIER>I/O>DCCON.
YES: It is likely that the feedscrew inside the waste toner pipe is prevented from rotating because of some fault. If the outlet of the waste toner pipe is clogged with toner, remove the waste toner drive unit, and remove the toner. If otherwise, try turning the main motor clockwise by hand. If the screw rotates, wait and see what happens; if the screw does not rotate, replace the waste toner feeding unit. NO: Check the wiring; if normal, replace the DC controller PCB.
