This Mr. Carlos couples of month ago,(July 2009) I bought some machines among which a Canon IRC2620N. This machine and the other ones are displaying this error message whenever it is turned on: E0007320001

if the Reader is disconnected from the Printer a E732 code will result. Once the Reader is disconnected the logic on the MAIN-Controller is changed to a "0". The copier is now set up to be a Printer only, and will not recognize the Reader. To correct this, you must enter service mode, COPIER>OPTION>BODY>W/SCNR and set that to "1". Then you must turn the copier off, then on.

If the reader unit is unplugged to diagnose an E732 code (reader communication error), you will find that the code cannot be cleared in service mode or by shutting the machine off, then on. When a reader is installed a switch is actuated and the W/SCNR signal is automatically changed to "1" when the machine is powered on. The signal will not change and the machine will not reset even if the reader unit is unplugged.
To clear the error code, enter service mode COPIER>OPTION>BODY>W/SCNR and set it to "0" and shut the machine off, then on.
