    Wireless

Is it possible to run patch cable from a network outlet to a wireless router and then patch a canon to the wireless router to acheive wireless printing for cheaper than buying the wireless card from canon? it would seem much cheaper but either way all pcs need to be wireless capable if im not mistaken.

Has anyone found a good way to get this done?(wireless printing without a wireless card on copier)

    thanks again in advance!!!

you can do this without running the copier into the wireless router

buy a dlink wirless bridge and connect this to the copier then you can have the copier whereever you want no need to be near a router.

you will just need two ip address's once for the copier and one for the wirless bridge set up loads of canon machines this way and yes it cheaper and works

      good luck
