    ir c3220 firmware

Just wondering- is firmware an issue with these machines, as in could digital lines on prints be caused by out of date firmware. I know there are plenty of issues resolved on Kyocera machines with a firmware upgrade. If any of you think it needs to be done could you please tell me how, TIA

I don't know, what version do you have? And could you post a example of the prints you are getting?

Is this a copy from the the glass.
            Are you using a ADF??

Looks like your image is streching from the ADF, like when your height is out of spec.
That's why I ask if you using the ADF.

As I said in the post- it is a PRINT. Those lines you see running the length of the page are one black one magenta and one cyan, interestingly there is no yellow line and yellow laser is the code that keeps popping up. The lines are not caused by pcu, itb or optics- they are digital lines.

So you are saying that it does not do this when copying from the glass and only when printing from the computer? If that is correct then have you tried a different driver. I had an issue with a church printing their bullentin and it would come out with lines. Had to change to a UFR driver and problem went away.

what are the Laser codes/ u can swap the lasers in this model to isolate problem/

Firmware updates have not delt with digital lines/ re check those connectors on DC pcb

u can try a Dcon clr/ or reload Dcon/ or reload imagePass C2 Software

i agre with coby guys if this is shown in printing from computer it is driver related problem i seen this a lot of times when the costumers used pcl driver. upgrade your driver or try use the ps driver.

Yes I know what your saying but the lines appear even on the fiery config/calibration pages- driver not used here. I have reloaded the fiery software twice now . The error code that persistently shows up intermittently is
