Having trouble finding the waste toner collector on an IR 3045. Any help would be appreciated.

I have to believe you are an end user, not a technician, but I will tell you anyway...
The front cover is held on by two screws, open the cover where toner is added, and you will see one of them in the recessed hole, the other is to the left side, on top of the greyish cover. It may have a modesty rubber cover over it, or if you have an internal finisher, the tray that slides out has a hole in it, that may too have a cover over it. At any point the second screw awaits you there. the cover is removed by slightly pulling it to the left and then forwards. Good luck getting it back into place, it requires a little patience to line up all the tabs and such."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"
