iR6800 E246-0001 error

The customer turn machine on and there it is. Everything seems OK. I try to reset but nothing happens. Service manual says nothing about this error. Would new system make any difference?
Maybe a DC controller is dead?

That's your counter chip PCB.
Updating system firmware won't help.
You must call Canon!
