    IR6020 Lost Scanner

Hi, I have a IR6020, and when I turn on the machine today, the scan option disappear. I can't enter in diagnostic mode too ( *-28*). I reinstall the system, but, didn't resolve. Some idea???

why would re install system software for that issue ??
A loose connection between the Main Controller and the Network Interface Card (NIC) will cause the machine to loose the Scan and Send buttons on the Control Panel. Also, a bad NIC Card will cause this problem.
*****Reseat the NIC Card first and install a new NIC Card if nessesary.
      Note:
If the Send button is the only button not displayed, reseat the Riser Card and Resolution PCB on the Main Controller.

Enter Service Mode by pressing Additional Functions > 2 and 8 simultaneously > Additional Functions.
      Copier.
      Option

      User.
Scroll to page 3 and select NW-Scan and set this to 1 (the default is 0).
      6) Select OK.
      7) Press Reset to back out of Service Mode and reboot the imageRUNNER
