****Be aware, network settings are volatile to an MMI clear and will need to be configured after clearing the MMI. ****Print out a User Data list, before performing the clear.
If Dept. ID Management is turned on, before you can delete a Dept. ID, you must know one ID and password to get to Additional Functions. To delete one or more Dept. IDs, follow the steps below:
1. Press Additional Functions from the Control Panel.
2. Select System Settings.
3. Select Dept. ID Management.
4. Select Store Dept ID/password.
5. Select the Dept. ID you want to delete and select Erase.
6. Select Yes to erase the Dept. ID.
7. Click Done 3x to return to the main screen.
NOTE: If you do not know one of the Dept. ID and password, you must know the System Manager ID or you can set one up. If you do not know the System Manager password either, you then can delete the System Mgr password in service mode.
to clear all the contents of the Address Book:
- Enter Service Mode (hit Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, and then Additional Functions).
- Press COPIER.
- Select FUNCTION.
- Hit CLEAR.
- Select ADRS-BK.
- Hit OK.
- Reboot the copier.
