    Problem with Finisher T1

    Hello again guys x)

I have a T1 finisher with a Canon iR6570 with a problem. Code does not appear on the panel, and the classifier does not classify, nor move the trays. In panel displays "finisher cannot be used". On the main board of the classifier is an LED (101) flashing red, as I do not have the manual, do not know if it's any indication of error (I think it is).

Leveraging ... someone would have the Service Manual and Parts Manual Finisher T1 to pass? xDD

    I thank you.

    I thank you.

did it function before message/were u working on machine before error ???

do u see a Limited Functions message ??
if u have a puncher attached/disconnect it and see if finisher is recognized.

with that LED on/ check the Molex Connector at the copier end. Open the connector housing and check for broken wires or if the connector is unplugged or not fully engaged.

    can also try MMI clear

Sounds like your finisher may be in "Limited Function Mode"
      Press {*), the "Common Settings"
Press the down arrow (Bottom of the display) till you see "Limited Function"
Turn this to "Off" then press "Done"
Press the yellow button a few times till your back to the normal screen
The Reboot the device (Hold the power button a few seconds and follow what is asks you)

After rebooting, the finisher should now be okay (tray move up and down), Unless there is another fault with the finisher

      Good Luck

Machine must have logged error to shut finisher down...check the error history and go from there

just a thought/ were u using the stapler before message (finisher cannot be used) ??

that Finisher LED should go off when u shut down printer/ if not Finisher PSupply is the issue

Customer may have selected limited functions mode if they got a code. Check error history, turn limited functions off and start over. Tray motors and tray position sensor flags can be a problem. E code would be E540-XXXX
