    E-100 Canon IR1025if

    Hey guys having an e-100 on this machine I believe it is a laser error. I'm not that familiar on this machine and do not have service manual. Any way to reset or have to replace laser unit?

      9 times out of ten, when there is a error code, chances are what ever that error is refering to its going to be.
      You might have to replace it but check it out first. Things to look at
      1. the shutter
      2. controller board
      3. laser
      4. drum???

          what about BD Mirror/ inspect

              Service manual tells you to focus on the laser but I would start with the shutter....anything that stops it from opening will cause this error. Let us know what the fix was.

                  **remember, in this model the BD mirror is more subject to poor machine location & condensation issues !!!
