    E744-3020 in iR4570

    Good day

    I have canon iR4570 iit gave me E602- 002 , after format the hd using SST and dowload the system software
    it appear E744-3020, I try to redowload the language and no change.
    pls. help me...

      Only logical thing to do is to start over, format and load software. Make sure you have correct software for the copier.

          firmware/ v40.03- SST v4.04 needed
          If an imageRUNNER 2270/ 2870/ 3570/ 4570 being upgraded has a BootROM version of v3.30 or less, the
          BootROM should be upgraded first. The copier should then be rebooted and the remainder of the items upgraded.
          The ALL file automatically does the BootROM first, followed by a message to reboot.
          For the imageRUNNER 2270/ 2870/ 3570/ 4570, due to interface modifications related to changes made with the
          new features added to the System Software, the following items will not be carried over when upgrading:
          a. Copy: Mode Memory (Special Features), Recall (Special Features), Standard Settings (Additional
          Functions>Copy Settings)
          b. Inbox: Mode Memory (Special Features), Standard Settings (Additional Functions>Mail Box Settings)
          c. Universal Send: Recall (Favorite Buttons can be carried over by exporting them prior to upgrading and
          importing after the upgrade – RUI>Add. Func.>Import/Export>Forwarding Settings)
          d. Log: Status and Log (System Monitor)
          e. Additional Functions>System Settings>Device Information Delivery Settings>Register Destinations:
          Destination address list will need to be recreated
          f. Additional Functions>System Settings>Device Information Delivery Settings>Deliver/Receive Log: This
          will be erased and also renamed to “Communication Log”

          For the imageRUNNER 2270/ 2870/ 3570/ 4570, the definitions of the ON and OFF values for “Receive Limit for
          Each Function” under Additional Functions>System Settings>Device Information Delivery Settings have been
          switched. The default value has also been switched so the default behavior remains the same. The current
          definitions are:
          a. ON – Cannot receive (Default)
          b. OFF – Can receive
          **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

              E602-0002 means there no firmware on the drive.
              Yes the most logical thing to do is reload the firmware correctly.
              Are you not familar with this procedure??

                  nothing wrong. you have n version boot rom? for older version firmware 256mb Ram enough. for latest firmware you must upgrade to 512mb. increase ram it will ok. this is experience. not shown in manual.
