    Hi,

Plot thickens now! It has recalled on last Tech and is now misalignment of 4 hole punch. First one is fine then all 4 are misaligned getting worse from top to bottom.

Stripped hole punch unit X1 and went through set ups no Joy.

    Thanks,

    Shazza

Go in service mode to test the Finisher-V1 M24 Internal Punch Unit-V1 punch motor and move the slider assembly.

Use the following procedure to rotate the M24 punch motor and punch slider movement.

Note: The front door interlock must be actuated for this test mode to work

          1) Power off the finisher
          2) Place the DIP switch SW382 to these settings

          3) Power on the finisher (Note: To test the finisher it is not necessary to power on the copier)
          4) Press switch SW385 to enter the service mode
          5) Press switch SW383 repeatedly to move the slider back and forth to the rear position
          6) Press switch SW384 repeatedly to move the slider back and forth to the front position
          7) Press switch SW385 to exit service mode
          8) Power off the finisher and reset DIP switch SW382 to the original setting

              Hi Teckat,

I have gone through all those set ups you suggested and it's fine when you do a single page hole punch job but when you do 10 + multiple copies it skews big time.

              Regards, Aron

where is the paper skew happening , before punch- or during punch.
is the paper skewed or are the punch holes skewed ??

                  Hi,

The image is not skewed just the punched wholes at punch unit. at some stage? Its ok on a single sheet but skews on multiples so must be a didfernt paper path back into punch unit.
I am going back Tomorrow to investigate . I have benn told to remove mylars on metal baffle unit A1.

Sorry but have not got a copy of skew punch.

Will get one and post Toms.

                  Thanks

I did not mean on the image/

I meant/ if the paper was skewing to cause the punched holes to skew

Just to add another thing to check. Try running jobs from a different drawer. I had a 7105 where the holes were wandering around on the page. If I ran the job from deck 2 the holes were dead on as if I used a drill press, from deck 1 you could barely see through the stack. Replaced the tires in deck 1 and holes were perfect again.

                        Hi,

Replaced the Punch unit complete and all ok now no skew but customer wanted holes to match with dividers. Went through the set up routine with dip switches that were posted all ok on test run 1 Copy. Come out of diag mode and back to normal!! not skewed but to far to the right 20 mm to right hand side.
                        Any other ideas.

                        Regard,
