canon clc 1160 colorpass z400 - printing quality problems

    Hi All,

i've been using a clc 1160 for a couple of months. Till now havent had any problems (apart from the start, but you've helped me a lot).
A week ago i printed a bigger quantity (60 times A3 sheets - big to me ) the colors were nice till 4 - 5 printed pages (200 g/m2) but after that it was getting paler and paler. I thought toner was running out. Later a tried printing again and met the same problem : 4-5 pages ok, after that colors getting pale , from red to orangeish, fro blue to paleish.
honestly, i have no idea what can be the problem.
Thanks in adavnce for your help!!!!

Sounds like it's time for a PM. I'd change the developer in all 4 colors.

also to add on / with no error codes u need to check your Transfer Drum> Attraction/Transfer engagement / if that Transfer Blade unit does not cam up > or if spring tension is off or broken under metal transfer guide in transfer drum> cause of faint copies
        -
could also have a bad HVT & those interior red HVT cables crap out/cause plenty of transfer pproblems

HVT cable inside the transfer drum (FH2-9069-060) may be arcing or intermittently open because the spade connector's on the end of the HVT lead may not be crimped tightly. To fix the problem either re-crimp the ends or replace the cable.

u can check PG 5 single color prints in service test mode/ if they print oK/ look in to that HVT AC

poster has not listed any E020 error codes / I lean to a HVT or Transfer issue
