    Canon Imagerunner C3220

Ok Hahaha so I can't get this to work I've had this copier in here forever had it working long before but no luck now...

So I know its a Canon Imagerunner C3220 with a C1 server on the back

So I checked the crossover cable it works fine the ethernet cable to my router is great and the green light on the server on back copier light up and blink

The red led 3-2-1-0 Ok so 2-1 are light red....

And when I go to the menu and look at printer it says wait and doesn't go on from there....

Any Ideas I can't find it on my router settings

I assume you need to reload the C1 system software.

The wait... screen is what gives me that indication. If after 5 minutes it does not change, my first step would be the software.

Does the 3220 stay in initial rotation , during Please Wait message ??
If it does> check your Fuser Temp/ how old are the DRUMS ???

U can also remove and re-seat the Open Interface Board

The C1 software came on a disk with the C1, called system software. Locate one if you do not have one.

If the C1 does not boot up, or the copier cannot "talk" with it, you get the wait... That is why I suggested reloading system software.

If it makes copies, the fuser has reached operating temperature, if the copies look good, don't worry about the photo drums right now.

I would suggest you acquire the manuals to service this copier, so you will be better prepared to take care of it, and gather some knowledge of this device to make it easier for you to fix it...

Try disconnecting the C-1 & configure to connect directly to the C3220 if you cannot locate the C-1 system software disk.

The dimms(memory, ram) can also cause boot up issues.

But, if you not sure about what steps to take to approach this issue, I would call a trained tech.
