    hi hasrh

to upgrade your ir3300 to n, have to change the boot rom and install the network card, then charge the system software in hard disk via service support tool, in fact, only changing the boot rom will you have acces to load with a crossover.
    hope was usefull

There was few ways to patch a C boot ROM to a N boot,.. or H boot.. without touching screw,....and of cause using SST.

You CANNOT change a C type boot ROM to an N simply by using the SST.

You have to buy an N type.

Keep in mind that is how Canon actually charges for the print option on this machine (and quite a few others, for that matter).

Printing is not free, my friend.

The only way knew was that you needed a printer kit.

The printer kit came with the N chip, nic and I believe some memory.

If there is a way, note that it is stealing from Canon, and getting caught doing so could have some catastrophic results if the conditions are right.

I would think that there may be some ways to do so using some hackers' tools, but I really don't cherish the potential results.

Stealing ?.... No, I found the way by myself, with a little bit of luck, and accidentally. No hacker' tool required. As simple as Oze's XX not found.pdf.

Yes, it's still stealing, no matter how easy or accidental it was.

An authorized dealer could lose their franchise and face a possible civil suit from what you are doing.

I'll have no part of that, thank you very much.
