canon ir5000 help

can i increase mailbox area in ir5000 hd .
i have a 20 g hd out the copier and i have a 10 g hd in the copier.
i want to clone the 10 g hd on the 20 g hd and increase mailbox area in the new hd.

if you have 5000i hd ,clone first and then put in u r 5000 machine and install firm ware of 5000 itself without formating in service support tool u will find mailbox storage increased

The answer is no,,, the space allotted for the mailbox is determined by the system software, not the physical size of hard drive storage. Canon decided what the parameters were to be,, and so it is what it is...

I have used 160gig hard drives in these, and the copier has no way to utilize the extra space...
