How can we enter the service mode that enable us to test the feeder function.
and how to print the copy counter for record. Thanks all of you.

Thanks for your attention on this matter, I want to make sure the feeder is stable and reliable, to reduce paper jam on the feeder, only for testing before delivery to our customer.

testing must be done with the dip switch,open the dip switch cover

shift 2 of the dip switch(DSW1) and then press the push switch (SW1) for single sided testing.

shift 2 and 3 of the dip switch(DSW1) and then press the push switch (SW1) for double sided testing.

Two important adjustments are below
u can also do a Sensor test in Service Mode>
COPIER>FUNCTION>FEEDER>FUNCTION

SENS-INT
Used to adjust the initialization of ADF sensors.


Operation 1) Paste black paper (solid black) on the final document detection sensor in
method the document tray.
(Make sure the black paper doesn’t cover the document placement sensor.
The document placement display LED must not light.)
2) Close the ADF, select this item, then press the OK key.
3) After about 15 seconds, the document detection LED flashes twice.
When <SERVICE> in the display changes to <READY>, automatic adjustment
is finished. (<SERVICE> appears at the top right of the display
during automatic adjustment.)

I am sorry to say my friend that no matter how much testing you do, this particular feeder will never be considered reliable... keep parts onhand and rebuild it often is my best advice,, great copier, not so great doc feeder.

Gotta agree with mrfixit.

Make sure the height is at spec.
