Dept ID required

HI,

I have set Dept id management manually on ir2018 printer , and when restarted the printer , it keeps asking for the dept id and password. i have put the Deptid and password but cannot login to the printer. Is there any way to know the dept id and password .

hi,

To learn the password it is impossible
You can remove the password:
SM > Data Initialization Mode (CLEAR) > PWD > Ok
After that you can set the new password

But from where i will get the SM ? the LCD display screen is locked and keep asking for the Dept ID and password.
