Open the lower left door and look for the cream colored guide plate. Behind the guide plate at the rear of the assembly is a black sensor actuator. Make sure that this actuator is being actuated and de-actuated when you open and close the door. I had this one kick me around for a while before I found it.

Had to fit one yesterday funnily enough.
Lucky I had one from a broken PPu in the car.
