[Misc] Fax utilities for IR 6020i

hi.. anyone can teach me how to use fax for IR 6020i? Is there any send function from the machine? do we need software and connect to pc?

(1) is there a fax board installed in the copier? Large bumpout cover on back of rear cover.

(2) do you have the fax owners manual, if so, open it up and teach yourself how to use the feature...

The 6020 does not support the fax function. If you want to set up universal send you will have to configure the unit to email. I am sure if you do a search there are detailed instructions on how to do this on here already. If you need something of that nature I can PM it to you later.

Hi Charm,, I stand corrected,, I could have sworn that the 20 series supported a fax kit,,, but I just skimmed the Service Guide, and see that you are correct sir!

You are the one that can see the copier, not I, so look on the back of the copier, upper rear cover, to see if there is a rectangular bumpout in that cover, with RJ11 ports on it...

There is no fax option for this model.

So, I don't know what fax option he see's.

There is a "FAX" tab in service mode when you have U-SEND installed.
