Canon CLC 5100 with Z6100 Fiery, Z6100 says copier mismatch and shuts down. Is there something I can change on the Z6100 to make this work? I can get into the set up with out the cable hooked to it.

This fiery is designed for the CLC-3900, CLC-3900+ and the CLC-4000. You will not get it to connect to a CLC-5100. I do not think that you will be able to change the software on it to a Z7100 either so it can talk properly. Might be worth a shot...
