[Misc] Canon iR3570 Scan to Network Folder Problem

Good day all! I am setting up a Canon iR3570 for scanning to email and also scanning to network folder. I have the Scan to email all set up and working, but the scan to network folder is not working. I can browse network domains and folders....but the scan never makes it to the folder I choose. I do not have a User guide that explains how to do this, so it may just be some syntax issue or a missing step is needed. I googled for a user manual but my search came up empty (except for somebody selling one on eBay). Anyone know how this is done?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you in advance.

With scan to file you will normally need a username and password to access that folder (normally on a clients server). So you would put in the Folder name (scans to file) Host destination (server name) file path then username and password. Make sure the folder has been given full rights to view. Check your DNS and WINS addresses also.
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

What folder are you scanning too. Is the one that you set up.

If you see those workstations and your able to browse out thru each workstation, being that know everyone's user name and password, you shouldn't have a problem.

I don't think its a syntax issue, if it was you wouldn't even be able to browse out.

        HI

If you can browes domain and shared folders. The only reason for it not to work is. On the workstation (PC) you must enable sharing on the folder in question and allow network users to cange my files ( Must be ticket). This should sort out the problem

        Hope it helps

You must make a shared folder on the computer with full access to save the scanned files into.
When it is working ,then make an entry in the address book to save the destination folder on the ir3570i for further usage.
